TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket and/or participating in the AppGala Conference (the “Event”), the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Tickets: Refunds and Name Changes

1.1. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
In accordance with the applicable laws of Poland and the European Union concerning consumer rights for event-related services, withdrawal from participation, non-attendance, or change of plans by the Client shall not constitute grounds for a refund.

1.2. If the Client is unable to attend the Event, they may transfer their ticket to another person at no additional charge, provided that the Organizer is notified no later than 96 hours before the Event.

1.3. Name changes may be completed through the Client’s profile in the PINE Tool system, subject to its functionality and time limitations.

1.4. Ticket payment methods are determined by the ticket sales service provider and may vary depending on geography, time remaining until the Event, or other external factors. AppGala Conference is not responsible for limitations, payment methods, or policies set by the ticketing provider.

2. PINE Tool Platform

2.1. The AppGala Conference is hosted online through a third-party digital meeting platform — PINE Tool. The PINE Tool Terms of Service are available in the Legal section of the PINE Tool website.

2.2. AppGala Conference is not responsible for the performance, availability, technical failures, data display, data transfer speed, access limitations, or any other issues related to the PINE Tool platform or its services.

2.3. Upon successful ticket purchase, the Client will receive access to the PINE Tool. Access instructions are sent by PINE Tool via email. If the Client has previously used PINE Tool, they may use their existing login credentials.

2.4. PINE Tool provides the following features to Event participants, including but not limited to:

  • Access to the full Event agenda and speaker sessions
  • Ability to create and edit personal and company profiles
  • Ability to schedule meetings with other participants and accept meeting requests
  • Tools to improve visibility through profile completion, interest tags, portfolio uploads, media attachments, logos, and images.


3. Video, Photo & Media Consent

3.1. By attending the Event, the Client grants AppGala Conference permission to capture, use, and distribute audio and visual content, including photos, videos, sound recordings, and screen captures.

3.2. These materials may be used for marketing, promotional, informational, or commercial purposes across any media channels, without further approval, limitations, or compensation.

3.3. The Client acknowledges that recorded material may feature them and may be used both internally and externally, provided such use does not intentionally cause harm or undue embarrassment.

4. Liability and Conduct

4.1. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate and up-to-date.

4.2. By participating in the Event, the Client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless AppGala Conference, its organizer, partners, affiliates, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from participation in, or connection to, the Event.

4.3. AppGala Conference is not liable for audio/visual content, statements, recordings, comments, or written publications made by third parties during or after the Event.

4.4. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, harmful, or disruptive, without a refund.

5. Amendments to the Terms

5.1. AppGala Conference reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms apply to all purchases made after the revised version is published.

5.2. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, limit, or cancel the Event, in whole or in part, if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
